Information:
First three casts, #1/6 - #3/6, were made at Morris Singer foundry, England, 1975 - 76. #4/6 and #5/6 were cast at TRIO Bronze, Langley, B.C., 1995. #6/6 not cast.
In a letter to the Morris Singer foundry, 1976, Mayhew wrote: “Please get the finest patina you can, so that the pieces will look as distinguished as possible.”
A unique small "Queen" – described as “Small size. Model” by the artist in her notes, was cast in 1971, foundry unknown. H: 8.5” x W: 7” x D: 5”. Weight: 33 lbs.
