"Procession" was exhibited outdoors at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Vancouver, in July 1961, along with "Earth" and "Prisoners". In 1962, it was exhibited with "Onlookers" at the National Gallery of Canada’s Canadian Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition.
"Procession" derived from many drawings of human figures standing in groups. Attached is an ink drawing (H: 7.5” x W: 4.75”) that relates to this image.
